Handcrafted by world-renowned master artisan Sabun Kubo or Ryosai Kubo, the Shinkazuho in black bamboo is a rare tool shaped by 24 generations of chasen makers. Designated by the Japanese government in 1987 for his artistry, they continue to create whisks that embody centuries of tea ceremony tradition.
This distinctive whisk is crafted from locally sourced black bamboo (kurodake) from Nara Prefecture, naturally dried for two years to achieve strength, balance, and longevity.
