Horii Shichimeien is a historic tea producer established in the Meiji era in Uji, Kyoto. Their tea garden — Okunoyama — has been cultivated for over 600 years since the Muromachi period, making them one of the few remaining producers who grow, process, and sell their own tea entirely from scratch.
