Kanbayashi Shunsho Biwa no Shiro

Kanbayashi Shunsho Honten is one of Japan’s most historic tea producers, with over 450 years of heritage in Uji, Kyoto. Trusted by Grand Masters of multiple tea ceremony schools — including Urasenke and Omotesenke — and an official purveyor to the Imperial Household, Kanbayashi represents the gold standard of Uji matcha craftsmanship. Biwa no Shiro (罵琶の白 — “White of the Lute”) is a ceremonial usucha matcha from Kanbayashi with a distinctive, indulgent nuttiness — reminiscent of macadamia and cashew.
